Today we’ve seen what we suspect is the first leaked image of the upcoming Zune Software – 4.0 which will release alongside the Zune HD. The image is being used as a twitter background by Dave McLauchlan (@DaveMacMS) who is a member of the Zune team. This was noticed by @clubdirthill, so credits go to him for picking up on this one.

The leaked image doesn’t show us much since its just the Now Playing area of the software, but it does show that it has changed slightly and also features new icons which match what are being used in Zune HD’s UI.
