Microsoft has made an application for a new trademark called “One Application”. Which is described as an online retail store services facilitating the download of computer software for use on mobile phones, media players and other portable electronic devices.

Now what’s interesting here is the specific mention of media players. Hints to the fact that it will deliver applications to both WinMo devices and Zune. Since there has already been news of Microsoft Windows Mobile team is working with the Zune team; Windows Mobile and Zune sharing the same app store or apps even doesn’t sound so far fetched.
