A time back i purchases a Silicon Case for my Microsoft Zune 30gb. I used it for a while before placing it in my desk draw and forgetting about it. I have finally decided to dig it out and review it.

As we near the official Spring 2008 and Zunes will become available in Canada we stumbled on this link

It shows some information on the current Zune generation, but only includes Zune 80 and Zune 4/8 (in red, pink and black).

There have been reports from France that Microsoft has stated that Europe will not see Zune until Fall 2009.

I have found some steps which should increase your battery life for those Zune 30 users who upgraded to the new Zune Firmware, only to find your battery life is much worse.

1. Drain your Zune 30 completely of all battery life until you get the exclamation point on your battery.
2. Fully charge your Zune 30 until the green bar is shown.
3. Reset it your Zune by simultaneously pressing UP on the directional pad and the BACK button.

Also, if you want to save as much battery life as possible, when you are not using your Zune 30. Turn it off by simultaneously pressing DOWN on the directional pad and the BACK button. This will loose your current track / video location but will save a lot of battery life.

Although the Zune hasn’t officially been released in the United Kingdom yet, many UK based Zune sites have been selling Zunes since the original release - November 14th 2006. This usually required a wait while the Zunes were imported and gave you very little support for any problems that occurred. Also, many in the UK simply didn’t trust these independent, UK based Zune sellers.
